Carrie’s Chronicles x F-Factor by Tess Lehrman Summer Kickoff Event

Last week, I partnered with social media influencer Tess Lehrman—who just launched an F-Factor meal delivery service (read more about the company here)—on an event to celebrate the start of the new season. The festivities, which took place at an Upper East Side penthouse, featured food, photos, beauty activations, and a special performance.

Upon arrival, VIP attendees were escorted to take photographs in front of Carrie’s Chronicles posters, set up at the forefront of the New York City skyline alongside a giant Oscar statue. The attire for the evening: “summer chic.”

Post posing, guests migrated toward the buffet-style display of F-Factor’s high-fiber meals being served on Coterie Party’s Flying Colors Set: greek salad skewers, tuna tartar atop cucumber, GG buffalo chicken bites, crudités with hearts of palm dip, bolognese-stuffed mushrooms, cheesecake bites, and brownies. F-Factor--founded by dietician Tanya Zuckerbrot, MS, RD--focuses on helping people live their healthiest lives through indulging in the perfect balance of protein, fiber, carbohydrates, and low-sugar meals. “Instead of omission of food, it’s about the addition of food,” Lehrman adds.

Additionally, Victoria Wreen of Victoria’s Nails had a booth set up where attendees were offered a choice of one to two accent nails in multiple glitter or foil options. Wreen’s company serves as 24-hour mobile nail service for New York City residents, providing clients with meticulous manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, and hand-painted nail art.

Halfway through the event, special guest Mikaela Astel--a member of Team Kelly Clarkson from this past season of NBC’s The Voice---performed two songs. The first was “Electric Love,” the same tune that turned both Clarkson and John Legend’s chairs during the show’s blind audition, while the second was her new, original single “Pretend.”

As guests exited the venue, they were presented with a “feel good about yourself” goody bag complete with a pearl barrette, scrunchie, temporary tattoo from Tattly, and jeweled pen. The ultimate goal for the evening: to show how wellness can be manifested in multiple ways, from fashion to beauty to food and beyond.
