A Fergalicious Night!

When I was invited to the official opening night celebration of Fergie’s new visual album, I was absolutely thrilled. I have loved her music since I was a little girl, and I couldn't wait to see her in person! Another plus: the event was at iPic Movie Theater (www.ipictheaters.com), a movie theater where waiters deliver a gourmet dinner right to your seats!

It's one of my fave spots at the South Street Seaport, with comfy seats that recline to "lounge position," soft pillows and blankets to keep you cozy, and amazing food. Two of my fave dishes: the "green goddess” aioli mini burgers, and for dessert, the chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches from world-renowned baker Duff Goldman!

For the Fergie event, I wore a black faux-suede dress with a studded pocket from Mixology--I chose it for it's "rock and roll" feel. I also added a belt for a bit of extra flair. Continuing the black theme, I selected a geometric "Bao Bao" by Issey Miyake mini prism wristlet, booties studded with pearls from Steve Madden, and a vintage skull cuff from Alexander McQueen. I was going for an edgy look, inspired by Fergie’s personal style.

I had a blast taking pictures on the red carpet, and seeing Fergie right before my eyes. She looked incredible in a long-sleeve, black sequin dress with exaggerated shoulders by designer Jennifer Fisher. Her album "Double Dutchess" was a huge success, and I am proud to say that I was a part of the excitement surrounding its debut that night.
