Carrie's Chronicles One-Year Anniversary/Relaunch Bash!
For the one-year anniversary of Carrie’s Chronicles, I wanted to take my website to the next level. The aim was for it to be cleaner and more polished, with my style empowerment motto radiating at the soul of the site. For two months, with the help of the sensational Stage Door Designs, I completed a blog migration onto a completely different program. The result: an updated Carrie’s Chronicles that is ready to take on 2019.
To celebrate my one-year anniversary/relaunch/16th birthday, friends and influencers gathered at the adorable Winky Lux pop-up shop in NYC’s Soho. As DJ Samantha Michelle spun tunes, attendees had the opportunity to take photos in seven themed rooms: the floral room, cloud room, tea room, and Infinity Room—surrounded by mirrors and complete with Christmas lights.
Additionally, CrowdSigns made a cutout Instagram frame that guests could step into and snap pics. The caption on the frame included the appropriate hashtags to use when posting about the event: #carrieschronicles #yourstyleyoursuperpower.
Notable talent in attendance included DJ and singer Chloe Jane; music artist Taylor Felt; Donshea Hopkins from Starz’s Power; Swayam Bhatia from HBO’s Succession; Toddlers and Tiaras star and entrepreneur Isabella Barrett; ballerina Isabella Fonte; actress Parker Winston; and fashion models Gianna Ferazi, Joscelyne Delgado, and Brandon Pikulinski.
Georgetown Cupcake provided custom treats for the festivities: an assortment of their most popular flavors adorned with fondant Carrie’s Chronicles logos. Additionally, Baked by Melissa catered a mosaic in the shape of the number “16,” made out of 200 bite-size cupcakes.
In the end, I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from both the guests in attendance and those who sent messages on social media during my special day. My first year of writing Carrie’s Chronicles has been a rollercoaster ride, filled with tons of writing, exclusive events, and even the occasional fashion fail. As I go into creating my second year of content for the site, my goal is to inspire and empower as many people as I can. So buckle up and join me on the thrilling journey guaranteed to be 2019. The next chapter starts now.
